A 65-year-old woman who disappeared a week ago has been found…

She was found murdered and her body was dug out by the cops on Sunday morning from a shallow grave, allegedly buried by her last-born son.

The story happened over the weekend in Vosman, eMalehleni.

Mpumalanga police spokesman Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said a confession by the 27-year-old man on Sunday morning to a community policing forum member led to all.

“A probe was immediately instituted and all role players were summoned to the scene, including forensic experts.

“They then dug in the rondavel, retrieved the body and as a result the suspect was then arrested and charged with murder,” said Hlathi on Wednesday.
