The ANC in the Nkangala region says now it only awaits the results of the audits.
The ANC in the Nkangala region has completed its branch audits.
Regions across the country are preparing for regional congresses in preparation for the ANC national conference in December 2017.
ANC Nkangala spokesman Sello Matshoga said the region’s branch audits completed on Monday and branches will only start the succession debate once “they have heard of the results”.
“It completed today and we wait for the results of the audit,” he said.
The region is expected to elect its leadership on 1 April 2017 and leaders are hard at work campaigning for current chairman Speedy Mashilo to retain his post while others no longer want him.
