The Wololo Music Festival that was scheduled this coming weekend is no longer going to take place.

Organisers say logistics issues have forced them to postpone the event to October 2017.

In a statement released on Thursday this week, the West Ink records apologised to the thousands of fans who were looking forward to see the performance of their favourite musicians like Big Nuz, Kwesta and Babes Wodumo at the 22-hour concert.

“The Wololo Festival has been temporarily postponed, from 5 August at the Puma Stadium in Witbank due to unforseen logistical reasons.

“The organisors at West Ink apologise to all their incredible fans and would like to reassure them that this is simply a postponement and not a cancellation,” it read.
