Chicken Livers with glazed cherries



Chicken livers

Canola oil

Finely diced onion

Chilli & Garlic Paste/minced

3T worcestshire sauce

3T red wine vinegar

Boxed Cherries

Sweet Chilli sauce



  1. finely chopped chicken livers, place in a bowl season with salt n pepper. add worcestshire sauce, red wine vinegar, Tbsp. of sweet chilli sauce and marinade for 30min.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan sauté onions and garlic.
  3. Add livers and sear for until cooked. Set aside.


For the cherry sauce:

In a shallow pan add oil until smoking hot, lower your heat and add boxes cherries, gently sauté the cherries until they become soft n form a sauce, add 3T cherry/red wine and let the alcohol burn of an f remove set aside.

*serve livers on French bread (Bruschetta)layer the sauce on the livers and garnish with more finely diced cherries. (optional)
