The issue has left many people shocked…
Twitter this week was on fire, with the Afriforum’s Ernst Roets being horded with questions on what should happen to the issue of Anele Ziko.
His alleged murderer, Sarel du Plessis, is facing a charge of murder and assault at the Tonga Magistrates Court.
Anele’s friend was allegedly assaulted by du Plessis and the court turned down his bail bid.
Former government spokesman Mzwanele Manyi wrote to Roets on Twitter about the issue of Ziko: “Dear Enrst Roets, can you please share your perspective?”

The incident happened on a farm in Nkomazi last week and Ziko was shot in the back while he ran away after seeing du Plessis coming. He was allegedly shot with eleven bullets.

The EFF in the Mpumalanga province has condemned the issue.
“The EFF is concerned by the ever alarming racist attacks on black people by the whites even though racism is condemned every day,” provincial leader Collen Sedibe said.
“The EFF reiterate its stance that racism must be criminalised and call upon the police and justice system to act swiftly and very quick [to] ensure that justice is done for the victims of this racist attacks and their families,” said Sedibe.
