Mpumalanga Health MEC Sasekani Manzini says her department will be assisting people who live with albinism to access to quality health care services in all health facilities.
Manzini led the department to celebrate the rights of people with albinism in KwaMhlushwa community hall in Nkomazi local municipality on Friday.
In their previous engagement with the MEC, people with albinism expressed their health needs that range from eye and skin care and that they cannot easily access them from public hospitals.
Manzini says the department will gear up to assist them get skin protection creams and spectacles for those who need them.
