Trichardt police looking for family of man found burnt

The body of the man was found on a farm in the area.


The police in the Trichardt area of Mpumalanga are appealing to anyone with information that can assist them locate the family or his identity.

The cops also pin their hopes on post-mortem result that will show whether the man was murdered or not.

It was found on 12 June 2019 by a farmer driving with his worker on Grootvlei farm near the Twistdraai mine road.

An inquest docket has been opened and that’s where cops will determine whether the man was killed or what. 

It is reported that his body and a small part of the spot where he was found was the only place that got burnt and not the surrounding veld.



This suggests the man was apparently burnt intentionally – as a form of murdering him. 

Also, it looks like the man was burnt at mid-night because he was found in the morning near the road.
