The government office is currently closed…
The Mpumalanga department of health is currently tracing anybody who might have contacted a Nkomazi government staffer who tested positive for the Covid-19 disease.
The woman works for the social development department in the Tonga area of Nkomazi.
Spokesman Comfort Ngobe said the staffer took her child to a doctor for consultation on 5 June 2020…
Few days later the doctor called the woman and asked her come to come back to him after another visitor at his practice was found to have the SARS-COV2 disease.
Ngobe said when results came Friday 12 June 2020 it was found that she is also infected with the global virus.
“The department of health is following up on all the people that may have been in contact with the official, since she reported to work between 6 and 7 June 2020,” said Ngobe.

“The safety of staff remains the priority of the department,” she said.
Shongwe said daily screening of officials are continuing “to circumvent the spread of the pandemic’’.
