Event organizers say the have been worried about the weather forecast all week.

The past four weeks have been a hive of activity in planning and preparing to stage KONNEKT DA DOT’s first Farmers’ Market at the scenic Indlela Country Estate in eMalahleni.

This event was planned for this Sunday 03 October 2021 but organizers say after consulting with the event sponsors on Friday morning they decided it’s best to postpone the event.

Organizers Nombulelo Media says the rainy weather makes it difficult to host an outdoor family event of this nature.

“As a result of prevailing weather conditions and SA Weather Service forecasting a 60% chance of thundershowers for the Event Day and having consulted with the Event Sponsors, we regrettably have no choice but to postpone the KONNEKT DA DOT FARMERS’ MARKET to a later date”, the company said in a statement on Friday midday.

A firm date for the next event will be communicated on Monday 04 October 2013 via the event’s Facebook and Instagram pages.

The company’s Nombuso Tshabalala said all tickets will remain valid for the next event.

“All patrons who had bought tickets by 12:00 Friday 01 October 2021 are advised to retain their tickets as they will be deemed valid for the next event.

“KDD will also give each person who had already bought a ticket 1 complementary ticket as courtesy for the inconvenience,” Tshabalala said

“All registered vendors will keep their booking for the next event and nothing will change but we will be in contact with everyone concerning the way forward,” said Tshabalala.
