The organisation is hosting a series of free social media marketing master classes for budding entrepreneurs.

Digify Africa is an organisation that is passionate about empowering young business owners with skills that will help them upscale their businesses.

The company’s chief operations officer (COO), Qhakaza Mthembu said their focus is to equip young people with skills within the digital economy.

Digify Africa has been in partnership with Facebook since 2017, in order to roll-out these digital marketing master classes.

“At the moment our training is focused on “Boost Facebook” this covers Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp as they are all part of Facebook group,” said Mthembu.

“Our master classes are unmatched due to the close relationship we have with Facebook, so each time something changes on the platforms our trainers are the first to know,” she added.

Facebook is not the only partner they have on board; they are also working with the Government Communication and Information System (GCIS).

“GCIS came on board as they didn’t want to duplicate what we were already doing. And we are working with them as we have a common goal of growing entrepreneurship,” Mthembu said.

Entrepreneurs are urged not to miss this training as they will get practical skills on how to upscale their businesses through digital media.

“The program has a total of ten modules and all of them are free,” said Mthembu.

The first virtual training will be on Wednesday 27 October 2021, from 14:00 to 15:30.
