A 63-year-old man will make a second court appearance in Secunda for possession of a number of illegal guns.
The man is currently kept in jail until 2 February 2023 when he returns to court to apply for bail.
He was nabbed last Thursday 26 January 2023 after the Hawks were told about a man who kept various guns at his house.
They went there and searched the whole house and found guns that weren’t licensed .
The person arrested is Eugene van Tonder…
The cops said they tested the firearms and found that one of them was stolen during an armed robbery reported in Boksburg, Gauteng in 2005.
Another belonged to someone that died in 2011.
