The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in Mpumalanga’s three regions are preparing for elective conferences.

The party refers to them as  Regional People’s Assembly or RPA.

Provincial leader, who is also the party’s spokesman, Collen Sedibe this week told 013NEWS that convenors of Ehlanzeni, Gert Sibande and Nkangala regions are on a “deadline” of 31 July 2017 to prepare and convene conferences.

He said there were still “process to be followed” – that regions cannot go to regional elective conferences without branches.

“All that these regions must do is first go to Branch People’s Assemblies, for branches where there are no branches, then nominate delegates,” Sedibe said.

“In short I can say that by 31 July 2017 we expect RPAs in Mpumalanga,” he said.
