The identity kit is making the rounds at local police station.
The Mpumalanga police in the Badplaas area are looking for the man believed to be over the age of 35 who burnt a female teacher’s car before making off with her belongings.
Police said they have been pleading with anyone with information to come forward and assist.
An identity kit fitting the description of the man has been supplied to 013NEWS.
It is alleged that the woman was overpowered by the man after her car was blocked by another vehicle on the Friday morning of 6 May 2016.
Badplaas police spokeswoman Cynthia Vilakazi-Dlamini said the man then drove off with the woman to the Engelsedraai farm, outside Badplaas, where he set the car alight.
“He took belongings – a cellphone and money and then ran away while the car burnt,” Vilakazi-Dlamini said.
“We are investigating a case of hijacking,” she said.
The cops say the victim told them the man was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and blue jeans, was dark in complexion and bit tall.
Anyone with information should call detectives on 071 869 0066.
