Former KZN ANC chairman Senzo Mchunu will address a 30th celebration of the birth of the National Health, Education and Allied Workers Union (NEHAWU).
Mchunu is lined up to share the stage with Nehawu secretary Zola Saphetha, Cosatu deputy president Zingiswa Losi, SACP 1st deputy secretary Solly Mapaila and former Nehawu secretary Fikile Majola.
The 29 September event at the St Marks International School Hall in Mbombela will start at 12 mid-day.
The year 2017 marks 30 years after Nehawu was founded on 27 and 28 June 1987 by workers who had wanted a voice in their various workplaces.
