The movie first angered both the Pistorius and Steenkamp families but its producers are going ahead with it.

A movie centred around the night Reeva Steenkamp was shot dead by his boyfriend paralympian Oscar Pistorius is now out…

Lifetime Africa, the film’s producers, announced this week that the movie will be aired for the first time on Lifetime DStv channel 131 on the Saturday night of 18 November.

Called ‘Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer’, it was written by Amber Benson.

It is about the night of 13 February 2013 when Oscar shot and killed Reeva in his luxury Silverlakes house in Tshwane.

It is starred by Andreas Damm as Oscar and Tony Gram as Reeva.

Pistorius was sentenced to 6 years in July 2016.

He is currently serving the sentence but the State is in court, making application for the sentence to be lengthened to at least 15 years.

The State argues that Judge Thokozile Masipa erred when she handed down the 6-year jail term.

The movie will be aired at 20h00 on the 18 November, channel 131.
