She first announced in August 2017 that she was on her way out of the popular SA soapie.
TV personality Thando Thabethe has thanked the millions of South Africans who allowed her “into their homes and lives” everyday while she was with the SABC soapie but also the producers who gave the opportunity.
In a lengthy post on Instagram this week, Thando said quitting Generations: The Legacy was the hardest decision she ever made but says as she walks out she is happy at being afforded the chance.
In August, Thando announced she was quitting the weekday South African soapie in order to focus on an upcoming talk show.
Nolwazi will still be seen on the soapie until January 2017 when her last scenes end.
“What an incredible journey it has been,” she wrote on Instagram in Monday.
“…a childhood dream fulfilled!!!” she said.
