The event will take place on 23 June 2018 in Ermelo.
Telecommunications deputy minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams is inviting all young people in the Mpumalanga province to come form part of the Youth Walk Into Economic Opportunities event.
It will be held at Ermelo’s AJ Swanepoel sports ground on the Saturday of 23 June 2018.
The deputy minister said the event will “seek” to show young people the opportunities available in government.
The community is invited to come join officials as they walk from the Gert Sibande district municipality to the AJ Swanepoel sports ground.
Ndabeni-Abrahams said an exhibition centre will be set at the stadium and the youth will have the chance to apply for bursaries, apply for jobs, develop CVs as well as registering companies.
Entertained with cultural groups, bands and bikers, the youth will also have the opportunity to talk to government.
“This outreach programme seeks to expose you to the array of opportunities that are available in government,” she said.
