She faces a charge of murder and remains in custody.
The bail application in the matter of the wife of slain eMalahleni millionaire Caswell ‘Somahhashi’ Maseko has been postponed.
Itumeleng Makhalemele-Maseko will now come back to court on Friday (14 Sep).
On Thursday morning (13 Sep), making her second court appearance, the 26-year-old mother of two sat quietly, listening to her lawyer asking for a postponement.
Her lawyer told the court that he gave her address to a wrong investigating officer and was asking for a postponement because the right investigating officer will still have to verify the address.
She was wearing a blue blanket wrapped around her waist.
Cops then escorted her back to custody.
She is accused of stabbing to death her 30-year-old man Somahhashi on 1 September 2018.
Makhalemele-Maseko has been in custody since 3 September 2018 after fleeing the scene of her house in eMalahleni town on the 1 September. She handed herself over to cops on the 3 September after her photos ran viral on the social media, being published by Somahhashi’s friends as a “wanted killer”.
