President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed his deputy DD Mabuza to assist him fast track the country’s land reform process.
This is announced by speaker Thandi Modise in a parliamentary publication this week.
Mabuza will help position government to not only fast-track land reforms but also to co-ordinate government’s programmes to agricultural support.
He will also help get government to support the rural and economy.
He is also required to assist the President in the implementation of the Rapid Response Interventions on Service Delivery and Trouble-shooting in service delivery hotspots, the SABC reports.
Anti-poverty initiatives will have to be implemented by Mabuza, Modise announced.
