
Since a warrant of arrest was issued in November 2019, the man still nowhere to be found.
The Hawks in Mpumalanga are offering an amount of R50 000 to anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mhlabuyaxega Khumalo.
The 34-year-old Khumalo is being sought for the murder of Nkosinathi Ngcobo, a former general manager at the Sam Holdings truck depot in Bethal.
Ngcobo was gunned down on 12 September 2019 whilst he was on duty at the depot and Mhlaba has been linked to the murder by investigators.
A suspect, 26-year-old Phindokuhle Nkosi, is currently in custody for Ngcobo’s murder, charged with murder in the Bethal Magistrates Court.
Hawks spokeswoman Captain Dineo Sekgotodi said further investigations had linked Khumalo to the same incident.
“It is believed that he might be around Gauteng or Kwazulu-Natal,” the police said.
