
He is believed to have committed suicide but cops say they are not entertaining that till they find his corpse.
The police in Mpumalanga are appealing to anybody with information on the whereabouts of Sambulo ‘Mshengu’ Chabalala.
Chabalala has so far paid R700 000 in two separate bails.
It looks like this time around Chabalala will return a dead man after he wrote in a note to Mrs Sam that he plans to throw himself inside a crocodile river.
Chabalala, whose real name is Gilbert Tachuona, and originally from Zimbabwe, said he started his R40 million-worth Sam Holdings logistic company from nothing.
He said all of a sudden there are people who enter in his life and try to destroy him.

Chabalala said signs of his own friends intending to kill him have showed.
The Hawks issued a warrant of arrest after Chabalala’s no-show in court on 6 March 2020.

They are asking the public to call detectives about any information on his whereabouts on 071 481 2977.

In his suicide note left for his wife he said it clear that “these people want to kill me”.
He said he would prefer KZN as an area where he would commit – especially Pongolo, where he would throw himself inside a river and die once.
Chabalala is faced with corruption, bribery, fraud and carrying of an unlicensed gun at the eMalahleni Magistrates Court.
