The police in Ermelo are looking for suspects who murdered a 59-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl.
Identified as Anna Lisaia Ntuli, the 59-year-old was found in the bushes of the Ermelo township of Nyibe on Tuesday night this week.
Police investigators say it looks like she was strangled then dumped in the bush.
Dimpho Malevu, who attended Laerskool Ermelo, was from the Ermelo township of Phumula and was reported missing on 29 July 2018 by her parents.
A day later, the 13-year-old was found murdered, dumped in an open field in the Ermelo area on the Hendrina Road.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged for the murder of a16-year-old girl in Mpumalanga.
The stripped body of the child was found next to the MpumalangaStadium in Ermelo’s Wesselton township last week Saturday morning.
The hunt for her killer began afterwards and the man was arrested on Wednesday.
Captain Carla Prinsloo of the Ermelo police said the man, who remainsin custody, was charged with both murder and rape and will return nextweek Thursday (25 August) to the Ermelo Magistrates Court for formalbail application.

Prinsloo thanked the community of Wesselton township for informationthat led to the arrest of the suspected man.
He added police were able to identify the girl and found her family.
“She lived with only her grand-mother. It’s an unfortunate situation,”Prinsloo said.

The Ermelo police in Mpumalanga have appealed to anyone withinformation that can connect cops with the family of the body of amurdered 16-year-old girl.
The body was found in a ditch near the Mpumalanga Stadium in Wesseltontown by residents who alerted cops on Saturday morning.Ermelo police spokesman Carla Prinsloo told 013NEWS on Tuesday: “Weare asking anyone with information that can help identify the girl orassist us with investigations to call us immediately”.
A black jean as well as a black and white striped T-shirt and blackschool shoes were found next to the naked body. Police suspect thechild had been raped first before she was strangled on the night.
“There was still no information yet but we believe before the weekends we will be receiving some feedback from the community with theinformation and with the help of the media to identify the girl andfind her family and bring to books those who committed the crime”,said Prinsloo.
