She allegedly wanted to pay R20 000 to a police officer to kill her man.
The woman was arrested on 19 March 2017 by Hawks and has been in jail since that time after her application to be released on bail on 27 March failed.
An amount of R500 was allegedly paid to the supposed hit-man for petrol and R20 000 was going to follow once her husband was dead.
The Hawks are also investigating whether an incident in which another man who was her husband before she married the current one was stabbed three times and killed by an unknown man in Bronkhorstspruit was not planned by her.
Hawks spokeswoman Captian Dineo Sekgotodi said: “The case of Bronkhorstspruit will also be investigated thoroughly to check if the murder was genuine or was also a hit”.
