He says Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma will definitely be the next leader of the ANC come December.
ANC KZN leader Sihle Zikalala says when the province’s branches go to conference in December they will not support treasurer-general Zweli Mkhize for the presidency.
“We support Comrade Nkosazana. I think she is going to emerge,” Zikalala told the Sunday Times.
Mkhize who is gunning for the position of ANC president is reportedly also a “Plan B candidate” with President Jacob Zuma’s blessing in case Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma’s campaign to be president collapses.

Zikalala said he had been approached by Mkhize supporters to endorse his candidacy but they are fully behind Dlamini- Zuma.
In September, the High Court in Pietermaritzburg ruled that the provincial conference that elected Zikalala and his executive was not done properly and has now been overturned with an interim structure to be appointed.
