Any fighter found conducting interviews in any media platform will be brought before a disciplinary hearing.
The stern warning to fighters comes just a few days ahead of the party’s 3rd provincial elective conference in Mpumalanga.
Acting provincial secretary Ntsako Mkhabela issued the warning in an internal letter and warned about the consequences.

The EFF is going to hold its 3rd provincial conference this coming weekend, called the Provincial People’s Assembly.
Incumbent provincial chairman Collen Sedibe is expected to be elected unopposed for a 3rd term.
The conference will be held at the Nutting House guest lodge and looks like fighters will go to battle for the post of deputy provincial chair.

Other fighters want incumbent provincial deputy chairperson Sam Zandamela to retain the post, saying he is experienced and that’s how the succession line should be planned in the EFF.
Zandamela is currently one of the EFF members of legislature in the Mpumalanga province, and he used to lead the Nkangala region before he was elevated to the post of party deputy provincial chair.
Other fighters want Msukaligwa councillor Mthunzi Yende to contest the deputy chair seat and others have put out the name of Gert Sibande regional command team member Isaac Masomane for the seat of deputy provincial chairperson.

Collen Sedibe on the other hand is the all-powerful Mpumalanga EFF leader and a closer ally of national leader Julius Malema and former secretary-general Godrich Gardee.
Other fighters want current provincial deputy secretary Ntsako Mkhabela who has been serving as the deputy for two terms now to become the provincial secretary.
Mkhabela is also member of legislature and is currently acting in the position of secretary following the resignation of provincial secretary Alfred Skhosana last month.
But other fighters feel that Mkhabela should just stay there as deputy secretary for Nkangala secretary Jackson Malatjie or eMalahleni’s Sophy Phaahla to emerge for the post of provincial secretary.

But there is a new grouping in the province that promises to challenge Sedibe’s long rule and thwart his expected unopposed election at the upcoming conference.

Ntskako Mkhabela said fighters who will be found commenting in the media about the conference “without approval” will face disciplinary action.
She said only Collen Sedibe as the party’s spokesperson is allowed to speak in the media.
