Another body of a murdered school girl in Mpumalanga has been found.Secunda police reported finding another stripped and dumped body of a11-year-old girl in eMbalenhle township at the same time as Ermelocops reporting finding a body of a 16-year-old murdered girl at theWesselton township.
Captain Magonseni Nkosi of Secunda cops said the child disappeared onthe Thursday afternoon of the past week after she knocked off fromschool and was found dead in eMbalenhle’s Extension 17 the next day by the residents who alerted them.
On Tuesday, the police in Ermelo said they wanted to identify a bodyof a 16-year-old girl who was found murdered in a ditch near Wesseltontownship’s Mpumalanga Stadium on Saturday morning in order to find herfamily.
“We are investigating a case of murder and no arrests have been madeyet,” said Nkosi, adding the girl had bruises to her face and theysuspect she died after being strangled.
A suspect, a convicted murderer who was out on parole, has been arrested and appeared in the Ermelo magistrates court on Thursday after members of the community informed the police of the suspects whereabouts.
