‘Punish racists in coffin case’ – ANCYL

The ANCYL in Mpumalanga has called for two white men who wanted to bury their black worker alive in a coffin to be punished.

Provincial secretary Pholoso Mbatsane thanked the cops for the arrest of Theo Jackson and Willem Oosthuizen for the “barbaric act”.

The story has gone viral on the social network since a week ago, with a video of the beaten man being put inside the coffin.

“Heartlessly, the scoundrels during their satanic behaviour of cannibalism, took a video of their act and circulated it on the social media to further humiliate Mr Victor Rethabile Mlotshwa,” Mbatsane said in a statement.

He said the ANCYL was busy mobilising in order to come in numbers and support  Mlotshwa when Oosthuizen and Jackson make their appearance on 16 November 2016.

The two were nailed by the cops and appeared briefly on Monday morning this week but the case has now been postponed to the 16 November.

“Mr Victor Rethabile Mlotshwa is a member of the ANCYL and ANCYL will be giving the necessary support throughout the court proceedings and he is currently receiving moral support through our young ward councillor.”

The youth league has said it will picket outside the Middelburg magistrates court tomorrow.
