Daughter of ANC heavyweight Mathews Phosa, Tshepiso, says she is the kind of change she wants to see in our society.
The young businesswoman recently adopted an orphanage centre called ‘Woodhouse community care base’, situated in Mataffin, Mbombela.
She now wants to upgrade the centre, adding a library for the 169 children it takes care of daily.
Some 2 600 books have been collected since then for the children and businesspeople have come forward to fund her build the library, which is set to be completed in August 2017.

“Education is key, that’s the one thing no one can take away from you as an individual,” she said.
“Every child in South Africa deserves to be educated,” Tshepiso said.
“I will always be the difference I want to see in my community. It’s difficult to do it on my own but I’m grateful to be in partnership with the Steval Pumas on this specific orphanage and I’d like to encourage others to join in on the movement of being the difference with me.
“Once this library is built in August I’m going to develop my second orphanage, Kungumuso,” she said.
The Woodhouse community care base is registered as a non-profit organisation with the Mpumalanga social development department and has the Woodhouse community care base, Mataffin community crèche and the Mataffin drop-in-centre.
