The police are appealing to the public to help them find a state VW Golf 7 taken from a traffic cop in Maake, Tzaneen in Limpopo.
The car was taken from a female traffic officer on Wednesday night.
It is a white Golf 7 GTI with registration GZC 117 L.
The traffic cop was coming from an accident scene in the Limpopo area when three men pounced, taking the car from her.
When she stopped at her residence in order to open the gate, a silver grey Ford Focus blocked her and she got out of the car and ran away.
The men then took the car and vanished.
