He says the little that he gets will now be used to make a difference in someone else’s life, no matter how small it may look.
Nkangala ANCYL leader Mduduzi ‘Mswati’ Nkosi is currently engaged in meeting the needy half-way and this is the new route he says he has now decided to take.
Called ‘Touching Life’, Mswati’s campaign is about donating brand new clothes, food and other things to the needy in the townships.
He said he has a group of people who have pledged to support Touching Life and reach the needy in their various locations.
“Touching life is all what I am passionate about. We must always give or plough back to where we come from,” the young politician said in a WhatsApp reply to questions.
“I started it in 2015 in my branch,” he said.
Mswati on Saturday was in Kwaggafontein, KwaNdebele – donating clothes to orphaned kids.
In December 2017, he donated groceries to the elderly and now says this will now occur on his birthday so that he doesn’t “celebrate alone”.
“I’m planning to make it annual and on my birthday,” he said.
“When ANCYL members in Thembisile Hani sub-region saw this they requested that I also do something in their sub-region of which it was a challenge as I do all this from my pocket. But I’m currently having the Friends of Mswati Touching Life Program that pledges support,” he said.
“Remember the thing you think is a little simple thing that you eat is too big to others. So give,” Mswati said.
