A provincial executive committee (PEC) meeting over the weekend resolved to do certain changes, amongst them co-opting him into it.
Former EFF member of Parliament Pro Khoza is now a member of the South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) and has just been accepted for co-option into its provincial executive committee in Mpumalanga.
Khoza, who resigned in March 2017 as a member of the provincial command team of the EFF in the province citing he wanted to go focus on business, left to join SANCO and Victor Mbethe, a key leader in his ward in the Badplaas area of Mpumalanga, joined the ANC.

013NEWS understands that Khoza also joined the ANC soon after he resigned as member of the EFF in Parliament on 25 January 2017 and had been introduced to then ANC provincial leader DD Mabuza by Gert Sibande ANC chairman Muzi Chirwa.
SANCO secretary Mike Soko said the PEC meeting at the Aventura resorts in Badplaas over the weekend also resolved to co-opt Hamzer Ngwenya and Ezrom Banda.
It also resolved to establish an eHlanzeni regional task team that will usher the region to an elective conference after the term of the current REC expired last year.
Percival Motha and Mandla Mamba will now lead the task team.
“Mpumalanga SANCO congratulates the co-opted comrades, and looks forward to their positive contribution to the growth and work of SANCO in Mpumalanga and beyond,” said Soko.
