The mother and her four children, were last seen on 26 December 2018.
Neighbours of the family were left horrified this week after the gruesome discovery of the four siblings in Klarinet township, west of eMalahleni, on Sunday.
The four minors aged eight, seven, four and 11 months were found killed and wrapped in blankets in their home after their mother called family members and told them to go check her house.
Police spokesman Brigadier Leornard Hlathi says the 30 year old mother and her children, two girls and two boys, were last seen together on Boxing Day and “all seemed to be well at the time”.
She handed herself over to cops yesterday (30 Dec 2018) and is expected to appear before the eMalahleni Magistrates Court soon.
