This is called the official opening of the 6th administration of the Mpumalanga Provincial Government.
With nearly two months past since the 8 May 2019 general elections and which got the ANC declared the winner of the elections, Mpumalanga Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane is set to deliver her first State of the Province Address when the 6th democratically elected administration officially opens.
It will be opened by legislature speaker Busi Shiba and then afterwards Mtshweni-Tsipane will deliver her SOPA speech Friday morning 5 July 2019.
The event will take place at the Mpumalanga legislature, Mbombela’s Riverside government complex from 9 in the morning.
Mtshweni-Tsipane’s office said before she delivers her SOPA on Friday she will have a “lock-up session” with journalists at the Mnotweni conference room.

The lock-up session with journalists will occur from 7 to 9 in the morning – giving interviews before she goes to the legislature to deliver the SOPA.
This will be the 2nd time Mtshweni-Tsipane delivers a State of the Province Address. She was appointed the Premier soon after then Premier DD Mabuza had delivered the 2018 SOPA, before being appointed the deputy president on 27 February 2018.

She delivered the 2019 SOPA on 22 February. She will again return to the podium to deliver her first speech for the 6th administration since two months ago’s general elections.
