His wife was found hacked to death and cops suspected her husband might assist them find the killer but instead the husband was nowhere to be found.
A 56-year-old man whose face was put on a local newspaper following the grisly murder of his 42-year-old wife has been charged with the murder.
The woman, Philisile Mashego’s dead body was found on 9 September 2017 at her house in the Newsroom section of Piennar township.
Cops believed her man would assist in investigations but they never found him and they began to run his photo on a local newspaper.

Police spokesman Colonel Mtsholi Bhembe said residents approached cops soon after they saw the photo, alerting them of the man’s whereabout.
“He was arrested from his hiding place at Mara Uitkyk, near Kanyamazane on Saturday (16 Sep),” Bhembe said.
He has been charged with murder and appeared at the KaNyamazane Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
