They will address various community meetings and do door-to-door campaigns.
The whole national executive committee of the ANC will be in the Mpumalanga province to campaign.
Deputy president DD Mabuza, secretary Ace Magashule, chairman Gwede Mantashe and secretary Paul Mashatile will lead teams of NEC members deployed to each of the four regions.
The campaign trail of the party follows one they had in Free State a week ago where President Cyril Ramaphosa hit the streets of Mangaung and began greeting people in the CDB on a Thuma Mina campaign.
– Mabuza will lead those NEC members deployed to Gert Sibande which include Tony Yengeni, Fikile Mbalula, Nomvula Mokonyane, Derek Hanekom, Angie Motshekga and Jeff Radebe.
– In Bohlabela, the campaign trail will be led by Mantashe and will feature such leaders as Nathi Mthethwa, Senzo Mchunu, Zizi Kodwa, Naledi Pandor, Pule Mabe, Bheki Cele, Bongani Bongo, Zingiswa Losi and Jackson Mthembu.
– In Nkangala, it will be led by Magashule and will feature Thandi Modise, Lindiwe Sisulu, David Mahlobo, Tito Mboweni, Mdu Manana, Sifiso Buthelezi and Mondli Gungubele.
– In eHlanzeni, it will be led by Mashatile and will feature Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Thabang Makwetla, Baleka Mbete, Pravin Gordhan, Faith Mutambi, Susan Shabangu, Tokozile Xasa and Alvin Botes.
The ANC said this is about “reconnecting with the people”.
“Through Thuma Mina, the ANC reaffirms it’s commitment to work with the people to create a better life for all,” the party said.
