The NPA says they are now ready to prosecute the 6 accused.
Former agriculture MEC Mandla Msibi and his 5 co-accused will stand trial in September 2022.
The trial will be at the Mpumalanga High Court from 5 to 16 September 2022.
They are charged with the murders of Dingane Ngwenya and Sipho Lubisi who were shot dead outside the Cayotes Shisanyama in Mbombela on 22 August 2021.
They are now in possession of the charge sheets, detailing the allegations against them.
They appeared at the Mbombela Magistrates Court Tuesday 1 March 2022.

NPA spokeswoman Monica Nyuswa said they each face two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
“Additional charges including possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, malicious damage to property and defeating the ends of justice were added on the indictment,” Nyuswa said.
Msibi, an ANC PEC member and former head of elections, was suspended from ANC activities ahead of the November local government elections after he was arrested and charged with the murders of Ngwenya and Lubisi.
Premier Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane also suspended him as MEC of the Mpumalanga agriculture department pending the court case.
Msibi has claimed his case was politically motivated and allegedly had to do with the councillor candidates list which was dominated by candidates from his ANC camp dubbed Focus.
He is punted as the provincial treasurer of the ANC when the party holds the 13th Mpumalanga elective congress on 11 March 2022.
It is not clear whether the ANC will allow him to contest as he is suspended.
